A Spaceship in Hollywood

If you spend time in the Hollywood area or NE Portland....perhaps you've seen this spaceship. It's known as "the star cruiser HMS Uranus". It's complete with an alien family in the backseat.
This advanced outerspace vehicle may be driving past you very soon.....
And it always makes me smile!

Can I take this to the planet to see the "Avatars"....?

Christmas is almost here!

Christmas is still goin' strong here at the Rita Deco Nostalgia Shop. We have a nice array of last-minute gift ideas. Lots of fun vintage decor for your festive home. Perfect place to find a "stocking stuffer" or cutie-patootie hostess gift. We also are jammed packed with all of our usual vintage and retro bargains. Hope to see you soon........!

Lovely Lamps....Lovely Ladies

Several lovely items have arrived recently at the shop. This is an amazing pair of mid-century lamps. A matched pair in very clean condition. Fabulous original shades in perfect shape. Currently at the shop and available for purchase.

Several lovely ladies have arrived: porcelain statues, ceramic heads, 1950's Asian motif decor, old paper items, and advertising finds.....all with that "feminine touch"...!

This Coca Cola tray is original and about 60 years old. Paint design is fabulous and it's in very nice condition.

Gnome for the Holidays

This pair of gnomes recently set up housekeeping here at Rita Deco. I told them I would provide them a "foster home" until a new owner steps forward. The boys spent a few hours in front of the shop yesterday.
They even brought a sign to display in their new home.

They got cold after the sun went away.....so I let them spend the night inside. These cute little guys are here at the shop waiting for YOU to take them home. They are easy to care for and they don't eat much....

Rita's Christmas Creations

We are featuring some great handcrafted Christmas creations here at the shop. These are made from vintage trims and found objects. Every items is unique and 'one of a kind'. Hurry in for best pick.....!
Included are bottlebrush tree Santas, vintage paper houses, and a gathering of angels.

We also have some holiday and Christmas signs. These are perfect for inside displays and tabletop. We even have some heavy-duty metal & wood signs that can be placed outside on a porch or entryway.
